I'm getting ready to get married and I don't want to come across as though I'm nagging, but I need a poem to write to my fiancee letting him know that we both share daily chores, I need romance, and he needs to spend family time with me and our 1year old daughter, but I truely want him to know that I really love him

Can't you just tell him??? It doesn't have to sound like nagging...you don't need to place any blame, just state how you feel.

If you can't tell him...write him a letter...instead of saying...could you help around the house (cause you know he can) say would you help around the house...no nagging...

I'm not quite understanding the whole poem thing. You just want a poem to tell him you need him to pitch in around the house?

Forget the poem, you need to just sit down and talk to him, maybe go out for a quiet dinner together and explain your needs. You say you need romance, but how you define romance and how he defines romance may be 2 different things. He can't read your mind so you may need to spell it our for him as far as what you need him to do and how.

Same thing with the chores. Don't just say "I need you to help around the house." Assign him stuff to do. For example, tell him it would be very helpful if when the trash gets full he could empty it. Or when the dishwasher is emplty please put your dirty dishes in it, not in the sink. Stuff like that.

The poem is a creative idea, but he may not appreciate your creativity and just think it is a corny joke and not take you seriously. These are serious issues that you need to communicate to him before you end up having a hug efight about nothing.

Good luck!

o.k. here it is: Darling, you know i love you more than i can say, but i really need more time with you, so that we can play . It would be so great if we could cuddle more, and it would really help if you could mop the floor. i want to kiss and touch you, this is all i wish, and i would have more time for this if you could wash a dish. you know ,everything about you, i really do adore, and i'd be really grateful if you could help me with the chores!
