Tell him you want a MAN not a BOY....real men take care of themselves and their women.....look for a independent man. The last thing a woman needs is a man who's mom still washes his superman underoos.

Nothing. What is wrong with that? If you push him before he is ready to make a commitment to you it could ruin a great relationship. If you really love him why are you trying to change him? Not everyone matures at the same rate. I am sure that if you do nothing and act like this doesn't bother you he will be moved out before next year. Just don't mention it and tell him it doesn't bother you. If he brings up the subject in a negative way like fussing about his mother then you can say don't you think it is time to move out. Until then you have to remain silent. He may be happy or feel obligated. Who knows his dad might beat his mom and he is staying to protect her...What I am saying is you never know what goes on behind closed doors. Give him a break!

You should clarify that a little bit. When you say "he lives at home", do you mean he is some kind of a boarder who stays with your family while attending college? Does he rent a room there or something?

Anyway, how old are you? If you are under age, here's what you should do: nothing.

OK, so you are of legal age. Still, please, clarify who's home he lives in? Yours?

Well, i understand there different reasons why people still at home, college, income, etc.. But if he is home because he doesn't want to go anywhere else, your in trouble. I know you love him and thats beautiful. But what can he do to benefit your relationship if doesn't have a solid foundation of his own. Love can blind, it can take over your mind. But get a reality check, if your in this situation.

You seem to be concerned that he lives at home. If he's not married, why shouldn't he live at home? As far as what to do is concerned, why when you love someone generally you get married, have 2 kids and then get divorced - at least in the USA you do.

Are you wanting to have a place with him or something? Well tell him you love him, tell him how you feel and how you think it's time for you both to begin moving in a direction where you both can be together permanently. Ask what he thinks? If he is not ready dont rush him. But definitely tell him you think it's time.

Why does he live at home? Is he still going to school? If so that might be understandable. But if not, you really don't want to go there!
