first set up normal, then close your stance, that means bring your left foot up and right foor back(righty), then when you pull the club back, feel like you are pulling it inside, then just swing through, if that doesn't work then still pull inside, and on the way down go out, so u pull the club in the push it out, and close the club head slightly, .....hopefully that's not too complicated

One of the main causes for slicing the ball is becasue you are not turning you hand over through impact, and/or your ball placement. is off.

Quick Fix: Using a 7 iron start with the ball in the middle of your stance slowly working the towards your front foot. Once you see your ball flight starting to straighten out put a tee in the ground. That way you have a reference point. Longer clubs should be in front of the tee and shorter clubs should be behind the tee.

Long Term Fix: First have some one look at you take away, more than likely you are breaking you wrist at take away, therefor you are opening the club face and not able to turn it over before impact. Your wrist should be locked into place untill you hit 9 O'Clock on you back swing. If this is the case you need to focus on you take away. I good training tip is to swing infront of a mirror that way you can see you wrist and take away. Swing, Swing, and Swing at first it will feel werid, but after 30 to 40 swing it will be normal. If your take away is good then it is in you hand. What I mean by in your hands is you are turning over your hand though impact, the easiest way to fix this when you are hitting golf balls, try to turn your hand over early, hook the ball, once you have duck hooked about 15 to 20 balls, walk away, get a drink of water, call a friend, what ever, just take alittle break. When you come back from you break just relax and you will find that you hand are turning over naturaly, which in turn you will have a straigher ball flight.

Hopefully this helps...

Side Note: Find a teacher that uses Video, get you lesson and swing on tape this way you can see what the wrong way is and the right way is.

the first guy's answer will make the slice stop, but you'll be back asking why your drawing everything....so make sure your feet, hips, and shoulders are square at address, all three body parts should line up toward the same point, be sure to keep your knees bent, and make sure that you are rotating your upper body (think of a pencil wound up in a rubber band and what happens when you let go)...the turn is key, your body has to clear through the ball before your hands get their or you will be open at impact causing the left to right movement of the ball

Slow down swing and close clubs face and picture yourself hitting straight through the ball and seeing the ball land in the fairway.

i recently had a sever slice.. mostly with driver but i was fading my irons which i HATE..

my probelm was i was rotating the club to much.. id be perfect on the take away (toe up at hip high) then from there i would almost turn my left hand over my right causing a OPEN clubface .. which is almost impossible to hit it straight from there.. if u do its not gonna be online
