I'm a bowler and yesterday i thought it'd be funny to show some people up on Wii Bowling :). But i woke up this morning and my Posterior Deltoid, Infraspinatus, Latissimus Dorsi, and Teres Major Muscles are really sore (rear shoulder, armpit/back) I have a (real) bowling tournament tomorrow - does anyone have a quick solution? I currently use BioFreeze for muscle soreness, but it doesnt seem to work.

take a hot bath with 2c. of dissolved epsom salts. This is going to pull out the lactic acid that forms on the muscles when you've overdone it. Afterwards massage an analgesic cream into the area. Advil liquid capsules work very quickly on pain relief. Try them and see if it helps.

You will be sore, but don't worry, your body is just strengthening the muscles. If you can muster enough strenghth, you run should go ok, it may not be the best but some of my best workouts and runs come when I'm sore from the previous day...Muscle relaxing creams do very little for you, but if it will help you mentally feel better about your soreness, you should go ahead and use it. Another tip, don't go out to fast in your 12 minutes, try to evenly use your energy throughout and when you have 4 or 5 minutes to go, try to pick up your pace, because chances are you've slowed down in the middle. Good Luck. You'll be ok.
