I know there is an American site, and I am more than happy to keep clicking and help American women, but I would really love to be able to help women in my own country too if possible. Anyone know a site?

Breastscreen Australia provides free mammograms to all Australian women over age 50.

Under this age, mammograms tend to be inconclusive due to the density of the breast tissue.

Many other centres providing mammograms bulk bill, and they are covered under medicare, so the service you are suggesting is a bit superfluous.

I have only had to pay even a 'gap' payment on 1 of the 8 mammograms and none of the 5 breast ultrasounds that I have had.

The one I paid for was because I chose to go to a more convenient facility which didn't bulk bill, however I went back to the bulk bill place for my next one as the staff were more pleasant to deal with!
