Illegals do seem to be better educated about the american political system and less likely to believe the lies of the repubs, therefore I the fear that the illegals might wipe out the Americans ability to elect a republican majority is why they are so afraid of them???

Well, obviously americans don't know anything about their own political system cause look at the mess the politicains they voted into office have made? I would imagine the illegals get a "true" and "un-biased","non-propaganda" view of the american political system and they would naturally from that have a better understanding of how things work.

How could an immigrant, regardless of status, know more about the American political system that the average citizen? Your premise is flawed, unfortunately.

This whole immigration issue--which is technically being overblown, except for needing to keep an eye on who is entering the country--is not about Republicans or Democrats. It's about money and Mexico City's refusal to clean up its house.

If the illegals were better educated than us they would stay home and take care of the mess they have created in their own country. What they do understand is that if they can get across the border the dumb Americans will provide health care, education and welfare. I thought that illegals could not vote so are you saying that the Democrats are going to some how rig the elections so that they can vote?

No. For one thing, the majority of registered voters /are/ Democrats.

Though it is true that /legal/ immigrants include many well-educated individuals, illegals are often drawn from populations that were disadvantaged in their homelands and thus lacked educational opportunity.

However, though your reasoning is flawed, you conclusion is not wholly unfounded. The majority of illegal immigrants are 'minorities' by American reckoning, and minorities have tended, in the last 50 years or so, to register as Democrats much more often than as Republicans. Thus, it would not be unrealistic for Democrats to hope for a swelling of thier ranks were illegals to be granted a quick path to citizenship. And, that may indeed be why Republicans tend to try to pander to illegals and the employers who exploit them with 'guest worker' programs, while Democrats prefer to offer Amnesty when pandering to illegals.

I'm do not feel that we are AFRAID of them. I think that is a very broad generalization to make. By stating that Americans are Afraid of immigrants you are stating that the country as a whole meaning every individual is Afraid. I honestly think you should re word the question, but in my opinion I am not nor have I ever been afraid of immigrants in a politically acceptable way. It's always been on a down grade on society way. Have you ever visited a Border town? If you have then you should know I am more afraid of being robbed then of them pushing forward in society..In most cases.

I'm sure the guys outside of Home Depot every morning are very well educated. The only place illegals are better educated about politics is in Miami which is run like a third world country.

I see what you attempt to poke on the hypocrisy of the project of marriage and classic marriage that's being battled out state by potential of state good now. the unhappy reality is, confident, if the familiar public of persons obtainable wanted interracial marriage to be unlawful, it could be. Morally, i've got faith this could be incorrect, fairly because each and each committed relationship I even have been in touch with has no longer been with somebody of my own ethnicity. besides, your concept replaced into precisely how issues have been till now the civil rights circulate. luckily, an incredible style of persons protested and finally replaced the familiar public opinion of what's discrimination so as that now everybody has the liberty to marry in spite of ethnicity.... except of path you're gay/lesbian/bisexual/etc etc. quickly (interior 10 years) the GLBTQ community could have the potential to have a similar rights because of the fact the heterosexuals could have besides, whither the conservatives like it or no longer (which they gained't.) Now everybody keeps this idealized state the place no longer something interior the form can be replaced to desire the familiar public, and thats merely blatantly no longer actual. Take prohibition as an occasion. Majority ushered it in, and finally majority ushered it out. If adequate human beings wanted it, interracial marriage could be unlawful as quickly as greater

Your assertions are beyond stupid. Most illegals don't even finish high school, Mexican high school! Thats why they come here to wash our dishes.

The reason that they support Democrats is because of all the socialist handouts that the liberals promise.

They don't know or even care about our political system. The least informed and educated come here, not the cream of the crop.

Your premise is not accurate. The illegals come over here because they can't find jobs at home. The educated Mexicans have plenty of opportunities to work for American companies in Mexico. Only the illiterate losers come here illegally.
