I have not heard of or been able to find any info on a water bottle ban. San Fransisco prohibited the city from buying bottled water for its employees but did not ban water bottles. I have no problem with that. They did it to save almost half a million dollars a year. The city gets most of its water from the Sierra Nevada mountains, some of the purest in the country.

I think that it should be a persons choice whether or not they want a bottled water. Since they banned it then need to put up water fountains for people to drink from and it should be filtered. Regarding what the previous poster said about plastic bags. At Ikea the charge you 5 cents a bag unless you want to but one of there huge Ikea bags for 49 cents. I bought two and I have already paid for them twice by not having to pay for little plastic bags. =)

Other than the distilled water I use in the humidifier ...
I'm not stupid enough to pay for water except for home and yard.

It's silly nonsense just for showoffs.

I think it is ridiculous! Where does it end...will they ban or tax plastic or paper bags....I guess then I'll have to juggle my groceries home!
