Wash your face with soap and warm water. Pat it dry. Use a small piece of cotton and dab a tiny amount of alcohol or witch hazel (milder for the skin) on the whiteheads. This will dry them up. Don't pick at or squeeze whiteheads. You don't want to (1) get an infection, (2) leave a scar.

You can buy witch hazel at any drug store, and many supermarkets also carry it.

Keep your face clean and eat less greasy food and less food with processed sugar.

this sounds so stupid but i read on this website: http://www.eyeslipsface.com/tips.asp?dept_id=1002 that you can put neosporin on whiteheads and pimples to clear skin!

If you wash your face daily it will prevent them. If you must pop it, use two Q-Tips because your fingers are dirty.
