I have a lump on the middle of my under pit. I've had it for a year and it use to be smaller. Sometimes its enlarged, other times not. Maybe I'm misunderstanding? Now its bigger from the size it use to be and so far, it hasn't gotten smaller. Some lady, a pharmacist said a lymphnote or tumor? And I read something online about breast cancer (my grandma has had breast cancer and it runs in my family), but the thing is its NOT on my breasts! So, can it still be cancerous?

I'm also pregnant..if its cancer , does this mean my child cannot live? I'm so scared now. I'm 4 months (16 weeks) and my child is VERY healthy from all test work and so forth.

There are many many reasons for the node to be swollen. It doesn't mean It is cancer,Go to your Dr. and have him do tests and then a followup with a specialist. I have lymphoma and i don't mean to scare you but that is where mine came out when they found it, but it could have been an infection, it does the same symptoms, also it could be a block node that needs to be drained. Try not to worry untill you see your Dr and specialist.

I would check with the doctor. It could just be a clogged lymphnode because you have a lot of lymphnodes from the top of your breast all the way into your arm pits. You don't die from breast cancer in one year. It takes time for the tumor to grow and metastasis, unless its benign. Any lump in your body is not good.

You must get this biopsied. This is where I found my breast cancer, in the lymph nodes under the arm. Just tell them no chemo til the baby is born, you have the right to choose.

It could be a swollen lymph gland, caused by an infection.

It could be a cyst.

It could be a cancerous tumour.

Go to the Dr and get it checked.

If it is cancer, then early treatment gives the best results.

If it isn't cancer, then the Dr will be able to set your mind at rest.

Get it checked out. Hopefully, it is nothing that will harm you or your child. It needs to be taken seriously though. It is most likely a lymph node. But there are MANY things that make lymph nodes swell, and you need to know what's going on.
Best wishes

Let me get this straight.

You're soliciting medical advice from a bunch of knuckleheads on Yahoo answers instead of your physician.

You KNOW what you need to do!
