1998 volvo a/c fan motor runs irregular speed on a/c .runs on a irregular fan speed what can cause this?

check with dealer the climate controls on these have had several software updates
if the blower fan runs at all the speed controler is probably ok.

blower motor resistor.Mercedes started that then everyone copied.I hate resistors.
