Well, yes you are. In a way that would make you rather one way. You want her to look good for you, but you don't want to look good for the ladies. Ladies can be just as shallow as any man can be and look for physical attraction as well.

If you want the "hotties", you need to do one of two things:

1) Have lots of money and go for the sugardaddy approach. This wouldn't be an attractive option because she would only be with you for your money and will in the end only hurt your self-esteem. Or......

2) Make yourself attractive as a person. Not only do you work on your physical appearance, but also what you are on the inside. Wear nice clothes. Get yourself into the gym and lose weight. Wear your hear nicely. But most importantly, learn how to flirt, communicate and be the best person to keep a woman. You do this, your self-worth will go through the roof.

Absolutely not!! This is the nature of our biology. Beware though that usually a girl that puts a lot of effort into the way she looks, usually expects the same of her man. While this is not a universal truth, it usually is the case.

However, if you can make up for it in some other way (ie: rich, great sense of humor,) as a guy, you stand a much better chance of landing someone hotter than you than a similarly attractive member of the opposite sex does.
