well you know when young people die ages 1-10,will they go to heaven or hell?? just because they might not understand god/heaven etc and it would be highly unfair for them to go to hell but at the same time they didnt give there lif to jesus,but only because they didnt understand....so where do they go??

If they die before they are 8, then they go directly to heaven. After 8 though, they are accountable for their actions, just like us.

The children will go to Heaven - there is an age of accountability though, when they know right from wrong - then they will need salvation through Jesus. But before that - they go directly to Heaven.

Secondly, God does not hold us accountable for what we do not know. The Bible says that God "winks" at our ignorance (Acts 17:30). He also said to let the little children come unto Him. God loves children, and if they die when they are too young to understand the free gift of salvation, or have never heard of it, then they are saved. God will not punish them for their ignorance, nor will He punish adults for their ignorance (unless they are willingly ignorant). What a loving God we serve!

I don't personally believe in heaven, hell, god or the tooth fairy...but I am horribly fascinated by some of the opinions on this subject.
There seem to be people who believe that god will send ten year old children to hell - and yet they still deem that god worthy of their faith and worship...frankly I find people like that far scarier than any god, devil or damnation.

They are resting in peace, in their graves , until the day of their Resurrection. Nobody knows why God takes the Innocent and the young so early in life, But believing in Jesus gives us all great hope. Amen

i believe heaven as they are pure of spirit.they do not fully understand right and wrong the way we do so most deeds done by them are not done maliciously.definitely not with very young children.i lost a baby before he was even born,i have always believed he is in heaven with my grandparents and my best friend.

If someone doesn't have the mental capacity to understand right from wrong or good from evil (I.E. being too young or having mental problems) they will be asked at the gate wether they want Heaven or Hell. That goes for if they haven't been taught about God and don't know about him aswell
