Because they are willfully ignorant.
Correction: neither one are fact, they're both theories made up of facts. Ex: objects tend to fall down, and the fossil record shows a trend of growing complexity. If someone were to come up with a better theory that explained the facts even more, then gravity and evolution would both be abandoned. But since they're both such good theories, that aint gonna happen any time soon.

Do not question the greatness of gravity. As a Gravitarianist, I firmly believe that Gravity deserves constant worship for keeping us safely on the ground.
(Have they changed the spelling for the name? I haven't pulled out the Gravity is God thing in a while)

There is no arguement that I know of about the gravity theory. The creation vs. evolution argument is a big debate. I go with evolution, because it has plently of sources, facts, and data to support it.

The theory of evolution is just a theory and nothing more. The law of gravity is fact... Most of the people that ask the questions about evolution and gravity are pagans that pretend to be christians....

What I'd like to know is, why do they ask evolution questions here and not in the Science section?
True that many atheists have a basic understanding of the theory, but still, if they really want a scientific answer and proof, that's where they ought to be.
Otherwise they just want to preach or argue.

The really interesting thing is there are legitimately a few physicists that are arguing against a constant value for gravity like Newton said. Gravity theory is on much shakier ground.

I actually have had more than one of them tell me that gravity was disproven and then use the onion article to back it up. Silly fundies, satire is for grown ups!
Also when they ask a question about evolution, why do they always post a church website to show where they got their facts? Do they just want us to understand why they are so confused?

I personally am a much stronger believer in evolution than I am in gravity. But that's just me.

Those who don't believe in gravity cannot stay seated long enough to type in the question.
