Mine aren't hidden. I don't ask many questions, and have always gotten an immediate violation on about a quarter of them so it wouldn't do any good to go through them. I've received plenty of hate mail but haven't closed my mail either. I usually respond to my hatemail - ask them to expand on it so I know what question it was - or ask them to clarify @%**, I never hear anything more. If someone wants to take me out, I'm game, I seem to be addicted to the site, it would be such a relief for it to be taken out of my hands.

Some people get reported and do not have business accounts to protect them from deletion.

I had five questions spanning almost a month that were all deleted at once. That took a lot of reporting that would not have happened if i was private.

I don't. I just dont allow IMs because instant messaging programs are more likely to allow a virus through than almost any other form of internet-based communication.

If I allow people to see my Q&A then they have a handle on the types of questions I ask and what they can reasonably expect from me.....

Some people get stalked by SOBs who decide they don't like them, then go to their profile and go to every question they've ever asked and report it in order to get them deleted.

This is abuse of the report function and is generally only done by vindictive nutcases who can't stand having anyone around with a different opinion than them. I feel sympathy for anyone who has had this happen to them.

I think it's a legitmate self-protection move.

Because fundamentalists raided me one night and reported questions that violated none of the rules. And yes, I do know it was the fundamentalists because one of them admitted it later. The reason I deserved the raid- I stood up for the Catholic faith on a question about saints. One was on animals and the other was a book question. I made my Q&A private after that. It's a shame because I'd like people to be able to view them.

Your pal, one way or yet another, has made you a splash and is in a position to study each and every thing. I went on your account, became informed your information became inner maximum, then I further you as a splash and became waiting to confirm your stuff. the only way you are able to sidestep it rather is to no longer enable human beings to characteristic you as a splash, or block those human beings (regardless of in the event that they have set you as a splash). pass on your followers section and the two block your pal, or block anyone.

I hide mine because trolls go in and give thumbs down and abuse button clicking after the question has been answered from days before.

I don't but do know some very good folks who have had to because of stalkers who go back through their questions and answers to report them in an attempt to get their account deleted.

I'm a regular on Polls and Surveys and there are a lot of report happy trolls who go through people's open profiles and report their questions and answers so therefore I keep my q&a's private as a safety measure.

I opened mine back up even though I know that it means my account will soon be deleted from the abuse of the report button by certain individuals.
Thank you.
