For instance...if you could receive certain privileges for domestic partnership benefits, etc. (in the event being in a homosexual relationship awarded you certain benefits, rights or privileges you currently did not have)?
Or....hypothetical situation...Your gay Uncle Charlie passes away and in his will it says he'll leave $2.5 Million dollars to the first of his nieces or nephews who "comes out".
Eventhough you're straight...and christian....would you do it???

Speaking about deception not being very nice....have you never lied about your age, your weight. Never lied on an application, never embellished the truth about anything...ever? Aren't those all cases of deception? What's the difference???
Or are you just answering what you think others want to hear???

If I wasn't a believer and single, I'd probably do it. Why not? That's why many more seniors cohabit rather than marrying!
However, since I am under obligation to obey all civil authorities, since they were commission by God, according to Romans 13, I must do so, being one of many of God's sons. Of course, if anything is clearly contrary to God's law, then I am obligated to obey God rather than men.

If a person is a Christian, he or she wouldn't deceive. That is sin.
Are you talking about that movie where the two guys pretend to be homosexual so he could receive government benefits? It's only a movie!

Why not? Most of them pretend to be straight for the benefits.

i think any "christian" who claims they would do it, isnt a christian! you would be getting financila gain by lying, and christians should know lying is wrong.... i would hope a christian wouldnt even consider this.. not only are you lying, but youre pretending to be something that is an abomination to GOD.
