Theist, deist, or panthiest.

Theist, if you believe that God is transcendent, but somehow knowable through some form of revelation, even if you don't know what that might be. Deist, if you believe that God is transcendent, but not knowable since you believe that there isn't any revelation from God. Pantheist, God is not transcendent, but rather omnipresent and imminent, and therefore is knowable in all things, since they are revelatory in nature.

Then, you could have some other view that maybe is a hybrid of some form of the descriptions above! I believe that agnostics are those who are just not committed to whether they believe a God exists or not. The way you describe what you believe in your Q, it appears that one or a combination of the the above is what you are with your beliefs.

Agnostic would be the word unless you happen to believe in a polytheistic pantheon......

It literally means that you are "without knowledge" concerning God (or the Gods).

That is not a bad thing, it leaves you open to direct experience and communion with the Divine in a way that having a specific conception of God would not allow as that conception would be in and of itself limited.

Humanist maybe? That's me.

Humanism is a philosophy of life inspired by humanity and guided by reason. It provides the basis for a fulfilling and ethical life without religion.

Humanists make sense of the world using reason, experience and shared human values.
Humanists see no convincing evidence for gods, the supernatural, or life after death.
Humanists believe that moral values are properly founded on human empathy and scientific understanding.
Humanists believe we must live this life on the basis that it is the only life we'll have -- that, therefore, we must make the most of it for ourselves, each other, and our world.
Humanist philosophies have arisen separately in many different cultures over many thousands of years. Whether or not they use the term humanism, tens of millions of Americans and hundreds of millions of people around the world agree with the humanist philosophy of living a happy and productive life based on reason and compassion.

Agnostic literally means "against knowing." So if youre agnostic your viewpoint is that you feel its impossible to know, no one knows. Maybe there is a God or gods or maybe not. You are not agnostic because you do believe in God. That would make you a "theist."

An agnostic believes that it is impossible to have absolute knowledge of god or the existence or non-existence of god or gods. Just not believing in any of the "popular" gods isn't enough to qualify..

God comes in many forms. Your idea of God might not be my idea, but you do understand that there is a power mightier than your own. You are balancing on the fence right now, I feel. I pray you dont fall on the wrong side of that fence. You know what I am talking about, I am sure.

well technically you're just a monotheist, or
Agonist
Theist
any of the above
but you don't have to be all forthcoming with the "i don't believe in the Christian god" no one can prove or disprove what kind of god there is out there, if there's a higher power then it most likely doesn't care who believes in it or how they practice their faith... otherwise don't you think that there would be pain and suffering world wide for those who don't believe? from what I've seen the people who have the most pain and suffering live in the most religious of areas
