If you have time, make some steamed rice and add no seasonings, then add that rice to the dish that's too salty and combine it all well.....that should do the trick......Hope that works for you!!! Enjoy!!

Ive done the same thing before and Im also a chef. Sure fire way to help is to add a couple of bay leaves, they will absorb some of the salt as well as give the dish a depth of flovor. It works!!!!

It's hard to take away what you already put it, try adding more rice or other ingredients like vegetables, just make sure not too add anything salty more to it like certain meats.
Hope that helps!

Peel and chunk up a raw potato. Stir it around in the rice and fish the pieces out. The potato will absorb some of the salt.

Add more rice. I made a noodle dish the other night that was WAY too spicy for my wife, so I added more noodles to balance out the "heat." It came out just great.

Sometimes you can place a peeled potato in a dish and it will help absorb the extra salt.
