If so could you please explain how you did it and how it turned out? 10 points for the best answer to solve my supper problem.

Either go to the manufacturer's website and see if they address that, but first, look all over the box, they usually have stovetop, oven and microwave oven directions.......I've noticed that on most packaged convenience foods, since we all have different appliances for the preparation of the particular food.....good luck, and Enjoy!!!

Addendum:

Tuna helper can indeed be prepared in the microwave, I just checked the Betty Crocker (General Mills) website and it is intended to be prepared stovetop or in the microwave.....the instructions are somewhere on the package (probably the side panel of the package, I'm guessing)

You should be able too. I would mix the sauce mix with the water, melt the butter and mix that in, then mix in the noodles and tuna. Cover it, but leave an opening and cook until noodles are done. Not sure how long that would take, since I never tried to do it that way.
