No soda is good for you. Soda leaches calcium from the bones and dissolves teeth enamel.
Re diet soda: One liter of an aspartame-sweetened beverage can produce about fifty-six milligrams of methanol. When several of these beverages are consumed in a short period of time (one day, perhaps), as much as two hundred fifty milligrams of methanol are dumped into the bloodstream, or thirty-two times the EPA limit.” So, you’re poisoning your body, too.

Read the source web site to see how scary soda truly is!

As far as sugar and calories go, yes. But most diet sodas on the market contain aspartame, and another artificial sweetner chemical. It starts with a phen, and I can't remember the rest, but it is a warning right on the bottle/can.

I drink "waist watchers" soda since it is sweetened with splenda, and not the other "bad" sweeteners. It's better tasting too.

It has no sugar, so yes, but soda isn't healty.
I've read that diet soda can actually make you hungry so if you are on a diet, it's best to get rid of soda all together.

No. There have been recent studies regarding the use of Sodium Benzoate, which is a preservative. Most sodas have this chemical and the latest study about the possibility of that chemical being able to alter DNA is a bit scary. Do your own research, though. Dont just believe people on here.

Yes. If you look on the nutrition label most diet sodas have no calories and only a litttle bit of sodium, while most regular sodas have calories, sugar, carbs, and sodium. They both can hurt your teeth though so make sure you brush.

They have less calories and no sugar, but they use NutraSweet or Splenda instead, and they still have carbonation and acids that rot your teeth away.Yes,they are less fatening, but they still have no nutritional value.Plus,if diet soda is left in a warm environment, the NutraSweet can convert to a toxic state.Yikes.

No. Diet Soda causes hunger, and contains aspirtane(sp) that can stunt your growth. (Not just height, it has been known to work internally as well.)

IT IS IN MOST WAYS. BE CAREFUL OF 'LOW CARB' DIET DRINKS BECAUSE THEY SOMETIMES CONTAIN SMALL AMOUNTS OF SUGAR (USUALLY ABOUT 3 GRAMS OR LESS) AND COULD HURT YOU IF YOU'RE DIABETIC. REMEMBER THOUGH ITS A 'DIET' SODA...IT CAN STILL ADD UP TO FIVE POUNDS A YEAR ON YOU IF YOU DRINK THEM REGULARLY!
