i have been holding my rat a lot and i was wondering waht other ways there are to have fun with my rat

get a shallow tray or bowl.. put rocks in the bottom, and then some clean room temperature water in it.. if you have any frozen peas or corn (or any peas or corn i suppose) put some of that in too.. they have alot of fun with it..

You can take a string or shoelace and drag it along a surface; he might chase and pounce on it. You can also cut rat-sized holes in cardboard boxes, and add in some tunnels and hammocks and things for a 'playground'.

Put about an inch or so water in the bath tub & let him swim. I did that when I had my rats. & they enjoyed it.

These games are for owners who have a close, and trusting, relationship with their rats, which it sounds like you do.
PILLOW TOSS!!!!!
Lay a soft pillow out in front of you. Cup your ratty in both hands and gently toss him out to land on the pillow. For most rats this is heaps of fun and they usually run back to you for more.
HAND-CHASE/HAND WRESTLE!!!!!
Move your hand around so that your rat chases it. Stop and wrestle and tickle him every once in while.
FETCH!!!!!
Toss a small cat toy out in front of you and encourage him to come back to you with it.
STRING CHASE!!!!!!
Just like a cat would, pull the string around and watch him chase it. Let him catch it and play a little game of tug-a-war.

you can purchase a rodent ball for your rat to wander around in. you can also buy a maze built for rats
