Is there a United Pentecostal church nearby, or a Unitarian church? They're non-Trinitarian. So are several other groups. Here's a list of non-Trinitarian Christian denominations (look toward the bottom of the page) :

Early Christians did not accept the trinity doctrine, but most of early Church father did accept the 2 in 1 God (the Son and the Father). It wasn't until later when the Holy Spirit became the so called third person of the trinity.

The Holy Trinity is the core of Christianity ever since it began. We are created in God's image, because we are to love one another in our families, friends, etc. One cant love him/herself, love requires atleast 2 people. Therefore, we give our lives and love to our spouse in marriage.
The Bible tells us that God is love, but love needs atleast 2 persons. Therefore, God (The Holy Trinity) have an eternal inter-personal relationship of self-giving life and love between The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. God bless and I hope you accept The Holy Trinity.
