about how large is are tummy? and how much should you put in it at a time?do you think a reg bowl ful of food is enough?
im having problems eating and im trying to make sure i eat enough to hopefully not get ill.

i cant eat very well.i dont like eating much.however im trying to figure if im at least eating enough

It takes 20 minutes to feel the fullness. So you should eat slowly. Chew your food 32 times. You eat until you're full. Not TOO full, just comfortable. Your stomach is the size of a large apple. A large bowl of cereal with milk is a perfect amount of food. In restaurants the portions are double what they should be. When you get up from eating, you should feel comfortable; not hungry and not too full. If you're curious about how many calories to consume, you eat your weight X 15. So if you weigh 100 pounds, to maintain that weight, you'd eat 1500 calories a day, assuming you exercise a normal amount. Don't worry so much about getting ill!! You should enjoy your food, but eat to live; don't live to eat. :)

Sounds like you need to talk with a doctor or nutritionist. I'm not sure how large the stomach iteself is, but don't eat until you get sick. It takes approximately 20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are "full;" however, you may not have that full feeling until after a certain amount of consumption. I've seen people eat and eat and eat and eat until they were physically sick, because the hormone or whatever it is that causes you to have that full feeling isn't working correctly. Make sure to drink at least 8oz of water before each meal and between meals. That will help fight off your hunger.
