i hope so. No child deserves to grow up in a family like that. (you don't want your grandchild growing up like that do you?) seriously, what is wrong with this world?

Likely, but it depends. What kind of domestic violence are we talking about? Was it against the children? The husband? Is she a first time offender? Was it aggravated assault? Simple assault? Self defense? It really depends. The state tries very hard to keep families together. It will likely come down to whether or not they feel the children are safe. If not, then they will be taken away, and the daughter will need to prove she is able and willing to care for them before she will get them back. Best thing you AND her can do is talk to an attorney right away. I hope your daughter is innocent.

No child should be living in a home that has domestic violence so YES I would assume that the state would take the child away and put him in a better loving home.

Social services will step in and she will have to take classes to prove she is a fit mother in order to get the child back. If the violence was towards the chld, then i think so. Check with social services.

Yo, webkinz lover , you have to be 12 or older to be on here.

I assume you mean: will my daughter lose CUSTODY of her son if found GUILTY of domestic VIOLENCE.

I would imagine that the son will be removed from her home immediately but that she could work to regain custody. Chek wtih a lawyer in your state.

It's a distinct possibility. It may be the best for him if he is subject to or a witness to the violence. She will probably be required to get help and attend anger management classes.

Probably. If you end up raising the poor thing, make sure to do better by it than your daughter, and see that it is properly educated, because if this posted question of yours is any indication, I'd imagine a lack of learning is probably at the heart of your family's problems.

Yes, she will lose custody because domestic violence is a crime. She might be arrested and do time behind bars.
