I have a co-worker who does this every day,he's sickening.
He whips out his wad of one's and constantly counts it in front of everybody.

Ignore him. The guy has a low self esteem and is looking for attention. He really believes that he will look like a big tycoon by showing off his money.

Yes, it is rude and tacky. I would laugh at him and be like, "dang big money! What you gonna do with all of those Ones?" If he doesn't catch on to how pathetic he is, then have everyone start asking him to borrow money. Once people start asking for it, he will keep it in his pocket for sure!!

I don't think it's rude...

I think it i stupid!!

Some day, he is going to be flashing his money around the wrong people...

With all the crazies in the world today, he may end up being mugged or murdered for a mere $3.

Tell him to wise up!

It's rude if you're trying to make people feel bad, but why does anyone feel bad about a stack of ones?

Maybe he's hoping someone will expose his secret career moonlighting as a stripper.

It is wrong to flash anything. Being flashy just shows off their insecurities and they think that what they are flashing will make them a better individual. Ask him to borrow money for your sick dog. See if he says no and then make him feel like a jerk about it.
Like," Damn you cant help me with my sick dog? You come around here flashing all this money, why cant you help? "Let's see how often he will "flash" then!

It is very tacky and lack of good manners, like talking about religion or politics during a dinner.

i was told by a former employer that to count money in public or in front of others was not only rude, but dangerous, especially in certain regions.

Funny but very rude. Tell him to stop. Or, maybe he just likes to know how much money he has on him!

If I were you I'd definately start picking on him about his stack of ones, then maybe he'd stop doing it.
