When you Accept Jesus as your Saviour, your spirit gets Recreated and you become Part of the "Body of Christ" and HIS Body is Called "The Church".

We meet in buildings that People erronously call the church.

satan divides us up. With names on buildings.

Basically, AnyBody who has been Saved, no matter what Else they got into, are Brothers and Sisters in the Lord.

Diversity is a good thing, but disunity is not. If two churches disagree doctrinally, debate and dialogue over the Word may be called for. This type of “iron sharpening iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is beneficial to all. If they disagree on style and form, however, it is fine for them to remain separate. This separation, though, does not lift the responsibility Christians have to love one another (1 John 4:11-12) and ultimately be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22).

The reason is because people rely on what someone else thinks and don't study for themselves.
The people I know personally that Study the Bible only, and leave the commentary opinions alone, mostly agree.
Baptist follow like sheep because they don't study for themselves, accept the scriptures Baptist are always hammering behind the pulpit. The same rule applies to ALL.
Too many sheep. We need to prayerfully read the Bible for ourselves.

I think we're actually pretty good about accepting that other Churches do certain things in their own ways. We Southern Baptists accept that with a smile and then go on to do things HIS way.

Even with the (often small) things where other Churches are wrong, we can still work together on the big things. Feeding the poor, spreading the Gospel etc...

All the different denominations are not a bad thing. It is just the different styles in which people choose to worship.

It will never be accepted that one religion is right over all the others, or that we can all just get along and let everyone have their own beliefs. We will all continue to try to convert others because we all think that we are right and they are wrong.

being a Christians means being like Christ and it is not false as some one said it is but denominations are man made.

different churches have different rules and I do not agree with them. some of them are not in the bible. if it is not in there I do not and will not follow them.

Are you aware it violates Yahoo's guidelines to specify who may or may not answer your question? Free speech is the law of the land and everyone has the right to express their opinion -- however unwelcome.
