Irresponsible? I would hope that some of you would think about the data presented surrounding global warming and ask what your contribution is. I believe I am one of the many responsible for what is happening now. No, I am not an atheist but I'm not Christian. Thoughts? Namaste

I see your point........ and I, as a Christian , can not say if global goings on are part of the Revelation ..... I must admit, a few things do fit the description, but I can NOT say for sure....... also, I will say, that according to the Bible, satan has control of this world, and he can manipulate the weather at his leisure....... as for global warming, that I believe is the human factor..... we are in such a rush to get the good life, we have forgotten how to go slow and take care of what we have........... as long as we or someone gets rich, the fact that it depletes, destroys, or kills, does not factor in....... those that KNOW the harm, show they don't care, because I think they believe it will not effect them, because they won't be around to do the suffering........ or will have the money to fix their personal health problems........ just my humble opinion.......... God bless

Even if we are not playing a significant part in global warming, there are plenty of things we are doing to the planet that are bad, which we can fix or do in a less harmful way. We are all responsible for doing whatever we can to help.

Making any decisions with the idea that the world will end soon is a bad idea. Reagan's environmental advisor actually followed that policy (see Richard Dawkins' God Delusion).

I am not responsible for global warming. My carbon footprint is far less than all the Hollywood nuts that claim I should be doing something about global warming. My carbon footprint is also far less than Al Gore's.

I don't fly in a private jet
I don't even own a SUV (not that I would want to, spending several hundred $$ a month on gas is a stupid investment)

I believe its time for all of the global warming mouth pieces start to lead by EXAMPLE and start doing what they suggest each of us to do.

when you really get right down to it there is no way we can stop it. even if every home in the world (that was able to) went green and used energy efficient bulbs for light, electric cars, solar and wind power it still isnt enough to stop what is happening. most of the electricity in the united states at least isnt used by homes, but by factories that are running 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. carbon burning is truly the life blood of industrialized countries and if there is a way to change to something else then other countries who are just starting to enter their industrial age will burn the coal we dont. people say if everybody in the united states went "green" we would help prevent this imminent catastrophe but what they fail to realize is there are other countries out there who will say "well if they arent burning it we will". call me a pessimist if you like but truly i am a realist. the impact of you or anybody else doing anything will be minimal in retrospect.

yes go ahead and do what you can but it may not be enough.

Absolutely irresponsible.

You should always blame Global Warming (1970-2000) or Global Cooling (1940-1970) on large corporations or the stupidity of man.

Blaming God is not in the spirit of Chicken Little,

And it does NOT help Al Gore. Shame on you. ;-)

Well ppl have been saying revelations is the "reason" for many things. But to "blame" God for the way things are is really irrational. I agree with you that we ALL (and NOT God) are responsible for this planet..and just because God has "warned" us of what WE are going to do with our planet in the future...is NOT a good reason to "point the perverbial, finger of blame" . G-wizzz...For so long now the scientists have been TRYING their level best to "convince" ppl that Global warming is a reality. But ppl CHOOSE to ignore situations UNLESS it directly affects them. One more reason to get to know the God that cares enough about us to fore-warn us about the destructiveness of our own sin nature!
What He says WILL come to pass..NOT because He wills it..but because He wants to save as many as will LISTEN & turn from this evil.
(Kinda like the story of Noah?..anyone remember that??)

revelations are religious BS, lies and deceptions
You know that already...
The majority of humanity is irresponsible for the shape of the Earth is in today, in the name of humanities god = $$$$$.

If, Humanity, would give a hoot about the condition of the Earth is in today, then this would happen:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.

UnConditional Love is the only answer;
UnConditional Love and Peace for Humanity...

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

No. i've got self belief those ailments (that are predominantly shown a techniques under 'epidemic' or 'catastrophic') are purely the top results of the mass media insurance of it international. information can unfold greater at as quickly as in on the instant's society than any ailment itself. The media protecting the 'swine flu' virus is inflicting greater worry and concern than the ailment itself. there'll continuously be some form of virus or flu or ailment of a few type interior the international attacking human beings and/or animals. it particularly is nature. the reality that media (which promotes itself purely for income) gets in touch and makes those ailments into 'epidemics of grand proportions' in one day, is ridiculous and pointless. those hurting the main over the 'panic' are the return and forth industries - it is not reliable for enterprise. in this complicated financial time, it is not a reliable concept to be encouraging greater companies to circulate out of enterprise. according to probability the media ought to reassess their objective and/or objective of protecting themes consisting of those. If and whilst a real epidemic turns into usual, that stands out as the greater suited time to circulate public with it. until then, information insurance ought to stay with different themes - according to probability run memories that provide human beings a greater 'constructive' outlook to their day.
