I must say that it is indeed original, but I also have to say that's it's DUMB! When starting a chat with someone, they don't want their glasses pointed out! They'll problly went through their whole life being teased about them and they could also take it as an insult. It could imply that the glasses look rediculous and they should let the doctor pick them next time or maybe they should change doctors or start picking the frames themselves. Try coming up with an original line that does not involve something that a person is wearing/might wear or something that doesn't involve every day life. It'll be a good change from all the "How was your day?" "Where would you rather work..." etc. lines.

Bad......everyone choses their glasses. The optician may offer some suggestions. The only time that I know of that you are not given much choice is in the military!

I think the choosing of glass frames is up to you because after all you are the one buying them and are going to wear them but you can ask the people who are working at the eye glasses place for thier opinion but the final decidion SHOULD be up to YOU

Personally, I think that is dumb. You need to think of some more "chat up lines". What if the person you are talking to doesn't wear glasses?! Then where would you be?
