now think about it..can the geico in the commercials talk...yeah, not really, so well probably ..let me rephrase that certainly the caveman is an actor since there haven't been cavemen for thousands of years.

The ancient humans to which we refer as "cavemen" probably didn't exist. It is likely that they might have used some caves as forms of shelter, but caves don't exist everywhere.
I suspect they lived in either mud brick huts (arid areas), thatched huts (wet/tropical areas), or small enclosures covered by animal hides (temperate/plains areas).
