Suppose i write qualification and want line exactly below this word .... no space .... how can i do?????

Highlight the heading and press CTRL-U

Alternatively, type --- under the heading and press ENTER

There is a U button designated on the Button Bar for underline.
Click it or,
you can also press Ctrl+U to activate the underline feature,
both work as a toggle switch, meaning they stay that way until the action is repeated
You can also be a bit smarter, try the Help feature, type "underline" in the search pane and get a dialog window showing you all the ways and means of underlining.

u just need to take a look at d toolbar on d top of d word document u r currently using..there u wil find d symbol 'U' with an underline below it..u simply click on that & after that write whtever u desire to appear as underlined..after that jst click d same button again to stop writing wrds or alphabets with underlines & dats jst it..... :-)
