Wow: My tester told me I was actually pretty bright but so far it seems like I'm the dumbest one on here!

Latter-day Saint (Mormon)

IQ 130.

Edit: Since only 2.2% of the population has an IQ above 130, I'm frankly skeptical of the idea that everyone here is telling the truth. It would have been interesting, though, if people didn't fudge the figures.

The guy (Catholic) that said his IQ was 60 something... LOL, that's not possible, honey. If your IQ was that low you would not be able to read and write. That is a non-functional IQ.

Hmm, as I recall, the last time I took an IQ test, I got a 139.

I'm a firm disbeliever in all woo-woo -- an atheist.

I haven't much "faith" -- as it were -- in IQ numbers, either.

But I'm keen to see what data you collect -- flawed though this study is in every way. (Nothing to stop anyone from lying; sample representative of WHAT population?)

Edit after reading the other answers: Goodness grascious and mercy me! My, what a LOT of people WAY beyond genius are on this site.

That IS, indeed, impressive.

Wish I'd known the rule was "Add 40-90 to your acutal score" -- I'd be a LOT smarter than, uh, I actually am, too.

Still an atheist; perhaps more an atheist than I was before encountering this question.

;-)

I'm not sure what my IQ is. I've never had it tested. However, I have a BA and 2 Masters, so I think that I am fairly educated. I am Christian specifically, Church of God.
Let me add, after looking at everyone's response. I am a Special Education teacher and I test IQ's for a living. Very rarely do people score above a 120. And yes, online tests are often inaccurate. I just have to giggle every time I read people's IQ scores.

Christian, Moslim, Hindru and some of the budhaist are heaven aim. Only Alti-yoga, Tantra yoga, Chinese Zen, and Toa of the ancient China are equality. If you are aim as heaven, every religious tell you the comparson and generious and forgiven will bring you there. These are not the everlasting, only the change are forever. Even the word change is still changing. The enlightenment is a very long way to go and you can go faster or you can go slow. all of them are our choice.
If you are waken up, nowaday or ancient are the same, I and pig are the same, there will be no different. The different are we have 6 six senses.

Even if all these people were administered actual tests by licensed psychologists (which for some reason I doubt), odds are they're adding at least ten to their score. Hang around here long enough and you'll know there's no way we have so many geniuses.

I'm a Christian, and like RJR I was tested by a psychologist (back in 10th grade, I don't know if this would change) and am on the right hand side. Won't say beyond that.

Atheist 142 - But I am not sure what, if any, correllation there is between the two.
Having a high IQ does not mean you are more intelligent than any one else anyway, all it means is that you are able to store and process CERTAIN types of data quicker than others.

I don't know my IQ but maybe there is no relation between IQ and religion feelings. If you have an open mind and know some Science (biology, genetics, anthropology, history of religions, etc), you would be an atheist. Or perhaps it all comes with the genetic and cultural package.

Well, I'm an atheist. And I don't know what my IQ is. I was in the gifted and talented program in school when I was a kid and someone told me it was for IQ 130 and above kids but I have no idea if that was true or not.
From what I understand, IQ testing is so inaccurate, it's kind of irrelevant anyway.

Christian
IQ: 160

*I don't think IQ tests are a reliable measure of intelligence. But I'm college educated with 2 degrees and watch the discovery channel, evening news and animal planet on a regular basis.

Sorry I have to laugh, I have a MENSA IQ of 137, I am a Msc in Psychology soon to be a PhD. Considering Einstein had an IQ of 156, I somehow doubt the levels given by others.
