DONT USE ANY HEAT you'll have no glass in your windows. If you use nitromors and touch your woodwork with it be prepared to repaint your windows.. if the paint is fairly fresh up to seven days you can use methylated spirits this is stronger than white spirits, leave it to soak in and it will soften the paint making it easier to remove with a cloth (make sure you wear gloves - it can cause dermatitis). Otherwise wire wool can leave fine scratches on your glass.. but so can the razorblade scraper but the razorblade scraper is the best tool for the job just takes effort.

not sure if you mean get the paint off the glass or off the frames?i guess the woodwork ...using a heat gun and a good scraper.is the best...or nitromors ...a chemical paste that you paint onto the wood and scape off after a few minutes....a bit messy ..
to get paint off the glass just use a new stanley blade held at an angle against the glass but be careful not to scratch the glass

Paint stripper, paint it on & leave it to bubble then scrape it off,get yourself some wire wool dip it in the stripper & rub the wood it gets rid of the ingrained bit's then wash it down with some water,it's a boring job but all worth while & don't forget to wear a good strong pair of rubber gloves the stripper burns.

I use a putty knife & a bottle of Windex. I keep spraying the gloss while I scrape it off. The ammonia cuts right through it.

DO NOT USE A HEAT GUN, unless you want to replace the glass, because it WILL crack.
use the type of scrapper which has a Stanley blade in the end.

You can remove it quite easily with a pan scrubber, brillo pad or any similar household cleaner. Or there is a little hand held tool which holds a stanley blade and works clear of the woodwork.....

Invest in abottle of brush cleaner, it is for cleaning brushes, but it will remove old paint.
all you have to do is dab it on the paint, wait a couple of mins, then wash off, and it doesnt harm your windows or PVC

paint stripper, the paste variety is best, leave it on for as long as the bottle says then scrap it all off, works wonders. if not a heat gun is good but not if u want to leave the wood bare as it will scorch the wood.

Nitromores Paint Strippers. Blob on, scrape off. Easy.
... wear protective gloves & breathing mask thingy. It's a bit potent. Works though.

what is "gloss of windows?" If it is some icky, sticky stuff, try using a heated scraper. You can buy these at Napa Auto Parts.
