A temple is a place of worship. And refers to any Building , built for worship. Not just Mormons.
Acts 7:48 & 49
And religions build temples, churches, to have a private place for their followers to congragate for religious services, out of the weather .

Are you thinking of it saying God doesn't dwell in unholy temples???
We build temples as houses of the Lord. We know He visits them, we know people have seen Jesus Christ in the temples. There are many accounts of the Savior being in different temples. They are sacred.

The Bible also says God walked in the garden with Adam and Eve. If you take it all so literally, then you apparently believe God had a body and walked around like you and I. (And no, we're not talking about Jesus here.) Stop taking quotes out of context just to refute a religion you don't like. I'm not Mormon either, but this is a lame argument if I've ever seen one.

What? know ye not that your body is the TEMPLE of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

They don't worship our God of the Bible. Look at all of the masonic symbols that adorn their temple, inside and out.
