She has stopped vomiting, but now she is slinking around the house and seems paranoid. She is usually an affectionate cat and loves being held, but now she won't let me near her and seems to be afraid of me. She isn't hissing.
She usually vomits every 6 weeks or so. I'm not sure why.
She is a Cornish Rex, if that helps.
I'm going into 8th grade, so I can't drive. My dad doesn't get home until 7:15 and my mom doesn't get home until 8:30
What do you think she has? My dad is taking her to the vet later

Three times it looked like what she usually throws up every 6 weeks, but I think the last time it was brown. Brown and liquidy, I think

It can depend on how old she is. Most cats will throw up on average once to twice a month. It's very normal. Her being sick, though, It depends on age, whether she has lost weight, is eating or drinking the same as lets says, 6 months ago. Depending on those things you can determine whether this is just a reaction to something she ate, or kidney failure. Until your dad is home just make sure she rests, and is drinking water. Call your vet if you are really worried, and they should be more than happy to answer any of your questions.

The recalled food should be off the market completely.
When she throws up is it partially digested food, brown gunk, yellow stuff, frothy clear stuff, or pink?
If there's a hairball matted in with it, that can cause some sensitivity in the stomach, they always barf that up if they ate and packed it down tight--the hairball will be with the food.
If there's no hairball and you have partly digested food, and only that, and it all came up--it could be something wrong with the food.
If it's brown gunk, the stomach is upset for some reason.
If it's clear and frothy, it may be the water that was just drunk (this will feel cold when you clean it up, not body temperature).
If it's pink, then there's a problem because the stomach lining is bleeding now.
Watch for the next time she eats, if all of it comes up within a few mintues and the cat keeps barfing to get it all out for the next 30 minutes take the cat to the vet and have them check specifically for pancreatitis--this is dangerous (we just went through that with one of ours).
Was she outside eating grass that might have been sprayed with insecticide--like a lawn treatment done a house or two away that the wind might have pushed the chemicals over onto your property. This would be a chemical poisoning and the vet should check bloodwork to find how bad a dose she got.

Typically when cats are sick they don't want to be bothered.
I'm not sure what's causing her to throw up so much. Could be something she ate, she might've gotten into something she wasn't supposed to, she might have the flu or something...You might want to look around the house for anything poisonous or any medicine she might've gotten into.
She needs to be taken to the vet asap. Until someone gets home who can take her though, there isn't much you can do except give her her distance and keep an eye on her symptoms (maybe even write down what she does and when so you don't forget or leave something out), so that you can tell the vet, or tell your dad to tell the vet, exactly what's been going on and for how long.
Hope she gets better soon. :)

Take your cat to the vet right away. It could have eaten something off the floor and it is now stuck in between the stomach and intestinal track. This happened to my cat not once but twice, the first sugery was 700.00 and he didn't get to have a second because he was too sick to make it though and that was another 300.00 to find out he was going to die. It was a rubber black hair tie!!! Never let your cat play with these! You know the thick ones that are black or different colors, they get stuck and they don't digest!!!

Cats can throw up very easily, so she may have just had an upset stomach. If your Dad is taking her to the vet later, she should be ok until then. If you can, try to get her to drink some water. When cats don't feel good they usually want to be left alone, so it's not unusual that she's acting that way.

This may sound wierd but check the vomit
Could be choking on a hairball or worse, have an obstruction on the digestive track.
Leave her alone, she feels sick and dont want to be disturbed
Also, dont throw away the vomit as it can help diagnose whats wrong.
Provide plenty of water
It helps to give clean and fresh grass.
Be sure that the grass is free of any pesticides.
If in doubt, DONT give her that

could be a hairball, especially if you said every 6 weeks she is throwing up. give her some laxatone (hairball remedy) a few times a week and see if that helps. but I would recomend that you get this cat into the vet soon just to be sure there isn't anything serious.

it might be the food your cat is eating or just a cold/flu, either way you should take your cat to the vet as soon as you can. until then give your cat space but keep an eye on her.

i don't know. might be food poisoning. they've had food poisoning cases where they have to recall catfood... If she throws up often you should get hairball remedy give a little after she throws up it should make her feel better. She has pobably been getting hairballs so comb her often so she won't have to lick her fur
