i told this guy i like him and came clean and he didnt seem interested. we used to hang out and do stuff together. so i asked him if he wanted to hang out and he said not to be mean or anything but i dont like you. please leave me alone.
i want to show him that i would be happy just being his friend. please help me i dont want him to be out of his life forever. we will go to school with each other this year and i dont want it to be weird. help me please

sry man but this is the risk everyone has to take to tell someone (especially someone close to them) that they like them. chances are, maybe if you find someone new or he gets over himself you guys can be friends again, but for right now hes a little wierded out. dont wry about it he will prob. come around, and by the time that happens your will prob be over him so you can actually be just friends with him again.

This reminded me a lot of me and my friend Ryan. I used to have a BIIIIIG crush on him. One day when i was really little, I told him... big mistake. He ran away from me. altough this was long ago, I learned from this experience. We are still best friends and joke about how I was so crazy in love with him. I can tell you are older than 6, so this is a much more difficult situation. You might want to have a heart to heart with him. Just tell him that even though this made things awkward, you still would like to be friends. Maybe bring up some good times from the past. If that doesn't work, you may just have to live with the fact that he doesn't want to be your friend. But don't feel like you made a mistake. One day, when you are a gorgeous woman, he will wish that he had stayed friends (or more than friends) with you...
