In Exodus 34:6-7, God proclaimed His name to Moses. He said, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin." Isn't it good to know that we serve a loving God? We serve a God that won't deep fry us into crispy critters when we do wrong. I know that I would have been smited by God along time ago if that were the case. But amen, God loves us. He is slow to anger, and will forgive the sins and iniquities of our lives. And because of that we no longer have to worry about our lives, because we aren't our own. We have been redeemed at a price. And now we are tools of the Father. God knows our thoughts, He will supply all our needs, and will give us the wants and desires of our hearts, if we will just live for Him. As Psalms 46:9 tells us, "Be still, and know that I God." God is my creator, my Father, and my best friend. In creation, God proved that he is creative. He proved that he desires an intimate relationship with us as he walked in the garden with Adam and Eve. He proved that he cares enough to give us guidelines in life to show us what is the best way to live our lives. God is an amazing. He listens to me when I call upon him.
What calms me more than anything else is that God doesn't need a special ritual, a special time of the day, a certain tone of voice, important words, or anything like that in order for him to hear me. I worship a God that can hear me in the depths of my soul, in the very deepest part of my heart, in the innermost parts of my mind. I worship a God that can hear me in a whisper. I am so thankful that I have a God that can hear me in a mere whisper, a simply thought, even in a tear. God always hears my call.

He is my Saviour, my God, my Friend, my Creator, my Father, my Maker, my Rock, my Reedemer, my Fortress, my Defense, The Begining and The End.
What makes my soul still...hearing of miners being trapped for over a week, their families not knowing if they are alive or not. Children killing parents, parents killing kids. I know there is alot more but those are the first to pop into my mind.
And, by the way, "Be still and know that I am God" is one of my favorite verses. It's a very short verse, but it is very powerful. What an awesome God we serve!!!! God Bless!

To me God is everything good and I'm thrilled to know that someone else is as joyous about him as I am.only God can fill my cup to the top,I am only 13 years old but just the name of Jesus makes my heart beat faster.I can't even describe my love towards him...It hurts me when someone shames the name of my LORD and I only await the day I can praise him eternally. Go is my best friend,the only friend that has not ever caused me pain.I love him more than my own life.

God is father and friend, he is loving and fair, people make a choice, he allows that choice to carry with them in eternity, he has been with me in times of War and peace as a medic, he has been with me when I flew wounded on aircraft, he has changed many peoples life's that I have encountered, from broken homes, to broken people, he heals, restores and mends, I have seen him cure cancer, and seen him raise a dead man in my ambulance after I prayed, I have seen him show mercy even to my worst enemies, I call him father, at the end of the day I can turn to him, he is my hope, and my love, my life is in his hands, I have seen him change the toughest and cruelest hearts while working at a jail, is my Jesus, who I love, I have seen him use people to make a difference, he is God and he does love, hes loves, some say he doesn't, with hell, but if you live life like he doesn't exist, then that is what hell is non existence of God, fire and brim stone mean nothing if God is not there, but he loves, he gave his son as a payment, so we could be with him. I call him father, and I call him friend, but most of all he is my first love

God is the One I worship! The song comes to me," I worship You Almighty God. There is none like You. I worship You Oh Prince of Peace, that is what I long to do. I give You praise, for You are my Righteousness. I worship You Almighty God, there is none like You."
I get lost in worshipping God, abandoning myself to Him, pouring my heart out, tears and all. I find that kneeling down, lifting my hands and my face toward my loving Daddy God gets me to the place of pure joy! In His Presence, there is no place I would rather be!
