oooh ask him if he likes playing sports or video games
if he does, ask him to show you how to play those games!!!
Good conversation starter and its a good excuse for you to meet up with him

hes a guy so he wants you to the first move i know im a guy. a guy will probly never show if he likes you but just notice little things like if he looks at u and when u look at him he turns away. but if a guy likes they will usually not say anything until hes sure u like him so drop him some hints that you like him maybe it will make him open up a bit
i know i dont know how shy you are but guys are shy too u know. we just like to think we arent hes probly waiting for u to make the first move.
tell im when u text i think its easier to text or write to somebody than it is in person maybe that helps a bit

Heres a trick I used to do when I was young(er)
Walk past him and get your mate to report back to you, if they followed you with their eyes !!!!
Dont look back as you walk past or your cover is blown.
It works - trust me
