I will be wearing a button-down shirt and either dockers or slacks to a casual wedding. Does it matter what color they are? It will be mostly outdoors too.

as long as it is a basic color like black, blue, khaki. something that looks good with anything else you wear is a good bet.

If it is outdoors, go with light colors. If it is a night wedding, go with darker colors. Stick with blues, grays, or any neutral shades for the slacks and jacket, but pop some color with the shirt or tie.

If you are taking a date, ask what colour her dress is. If it is pink or peach, try beige. In fact, beige will go well with almost any colour just don't go too light.

I would go with beige pants. and then your shoes whichever look best, just make sure your belt and shoes are the same color.

it is usually light for spring and summer and dark for fall and winter. I'd go with the light/Kaki pants.
