What does a first class upgrade include besides a bigger chair? Food? Alcoholic beverages? Anything else? I'd like to find out (most notably) about America West and US Airways, but would also like to hear of the other airlines.

Unlimited supply of whatever beverage you desire that they have. The stewardess will pay a lot of attention to you, she/he will call you by name. The food is served on real plates with real silverware and cloth napkins. The food is a significant upgrade over cattle class. They don't even serve food in coach on most airlines anymore. First shot at all reading material on the plane. Your the first one on, first one off. Your bags are given priority treatment.

The things I remember:
1) Warm washclothes to wash your hands
2) Larger beverages
3) More leg room
4) You're served first
5) Better meals, but that was back in 1996
