I find that I am tired of dating. I have met people on my own and had some setups from friends. I go into every situation thinking that I will make a new friend or just meet a new person, but I also never rule anything else out. I have gone out with guys that are complete opposites of what I would usually date and guys that I am not physically attracted to. Nothing ever works out as more than a friend. There is just no chemistry or common interests there or something. I would like to find someone special one of these days but at this point I just give up.

It's always good to rediscover who you are without someone else. After a long relationship or series of relationships end it's good to rediscover what you like to do where you like to go even what food you like to eat.
Take some time and learn how to be happy and love your life and when or if you do meet someone you'll have an even better life to share with them. And if you never meet someone special at least you're loving your life as it is.

Jen, there is nothing wrong with taking a break from men. I did it myself for 2 years, and I am so glad I did. Before, I had never gone more than a month without a date or boyfriend. since I took my "break from dating" I have learned so much about myself and developed more as a woman. I now know exactly what I am looking for and won't settle for less. I see my future so much more clearly, even though I'm not totally sure what it holds. But now that I know I don't need a man to be happy, I am looking forward to my future, not fearing it. You are a very pretty girl, judging from the previous picture you posted, and you seem pretty level headed, It seems that when we focus on ourselves, that's when the good men just start showing up! of all your dating ideals attraction and having something in common seem to be most important. Theres nothing wrong with friends but someone special is equally uncommon and worth finding. Take care.

You've just gotta have patience, I guess... See, I can't even get decent dates. My friends don't set me up with anybody, and I can't seem to meet any new girls. Well, things happen for a reason, right? Just keep looking...
