She could say she understands me and actually mean it. Of course this is very similar to the worst thing which would be say it and yet she doesn't mean it and it isn't true.
Literally everything else you could ever want from another person flows from understanding. You can have all of the other pleasantries in a relationship but without understanding the other person it won't last.

At the time my girlfriend who is now my wife kept some kind of souveigner from all of our first dates without letting me know. A little ways down the road she gave me a scrap book with our pictures, movie and show ticket stubbs, resturaunt menu s, coasters, sctratched lotto tickets, all kinds of stuff. It let me know how important the time we spent together was to her and it was amazing. I was in love! And of course I love you is music to my ears but, any kind of playful comment or pet names for each other are good too.

In reality, the best thing they've ever said to me was "do what makes you happy -- I trust you enough to let you have fun", aside from "I love you".
The best thing you can give is probably either a sweet present, or pleasure.
The best thing I have fantasized about hearing is, "I think it would be really fun if we spiced up this relationship with another girl". I know most girls think that's horrible, but it's the truth!

Its not one thing that wins the day here. Its all the little things that add up. honesty- and all the other over used things are almost a fantasy in the current US culture. ahh, what a shame.

Thats she loves me more then anyone else and that she wants to be with me all the time. I think thats really nice and really hope someday my gf will say that to me.
