Didn't Jews attempt to Kill Jesus?

No, I think Judaism and Islam are both peaceful and both misunderstood. One of the most beautiful concepts of Islam (in my opinion) is jihad, which is mistakenly interpreted as holy war--but its other meaning is completely ignored! Jihad [as I understand it] means a Muslim's inner struggle to be a good Muslim, yet nobody really knows this, and says "oh, those Muslims, so violent," which isn't true at all. I think they are both peaceful religions with a few nuts tossed in.
Secondly, we didn't attempt to kill J*sus, and we didn't kill him either. Our penalty of death was stoning. J*sus was crucified, the Roman penalty for treason. The Romans were afraid J*sus was trying to take over Caesar's rule. And no matter what the Bible says, the most bloodthirsty leader possibly in Roman history, Pontius Pilate, does NOT simply "hand over" the decision to put someone to death to the Jews--that's simply illogical and a known example of the antisemitic antics of the New Testament.

There are two kinds of peace. There is the peace that comes when people with differences live together in harmony, and there is the peace that comes when everyone different has been eliminated.
I think a religion that looks forward to the day that nations live together in peace and that preaches that any person, regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender, ability, or politics, who is basically a good person (keeps the 7 commandments) will have a share in this world to come is peaceful in the first sense.
I think that a religion that preaches that, "The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him" is peaceful in the second sense.

Judaism is peaceful because Judaism does not expect everyone to be perfect. Islam like Christianity thinks once everyone is a Muslim then everyone will be good which is very unrealistic since this is not how humans are.

crucifixion was a roman execution technique.
it's clear that jews never committed the kind of invasions that the christians and muslims did. to be fair, they HAD to do that, because they were both new, invented religions, and needed to convert people by force.

Islam peaceful is peaceful religion the name of Islam came from salaam in Arabic mean peace.and the Islamic greeting is " peace be upon you " salaam alaikom.
Judaism and the ten command is good ethical commands
so every religion is peaceful and any one say that there is a violent religion is BIG FAT LAIR .

A small group of one sect of Judaism conspired to have Jesus killed... not all Jews.
You have asked why I concider islam not peaceful... my answer follows... it is in direct responce to your request... if you do not like it or if any other muslim does not like it that is too bad... it is exactrly what you asked for... so if you try to report it you are giving clear evidence of the truth of my position...
All mulsims must believe and obay allah... they must believe that the koran comes from allah... that there is only one koran...that there is only one islam... that the koran is islam and islam is the koran... the koran clearly states that All who do not submit to the law of the koran and islam are to be killed.....
I would concider anyone sworn to kill me to be my enemy and definatly not peaceful.... and btw... I have had Jews threaten to kill me and I have had so-called Christians threaten to kill me... There are less than peacful people in both Judaism and claiming to be Christians... But All muslims must obay absolutly all of the koran... that means ALL muslims must be sworn to kill all, like me, who refuse to submit to the law of the koran.

First the Romans killed Christ.
Both religions are peaceful its just when followers of the religions decide to reinterprets the religion we end up with wars. The current radical Islamists are attempting to make their religion one of war and evil.

All three Abrahamic religions include mention of violence in their literature. It doesn't mean that any one is inherently right or wrong, it's all dependent on how the followers of each religion choose to interpret text and then carry out the word.

Most religions preach peace. The problem is when you get members of that faith who are backed into a corner, or feel as if their entire way of life is threatened. It's not unlike a cornered squirrel--squirrels are timid by nature, but they can really rip you up if they feel they have no other option.
