it depends on what you would rather see more wrecks or faster cars if you want wrecks got to new hampshire that awful hump in turn 2 (or 4?) will give you plenty of excitement and if it's speed go to pocono the long stretches make for speeds around 190

I'm biased as New Hampshire was my first race about 15 years ago. But for a first race I'd go to New Hampshire. It is a very unique track, often called Martinsville on steroids. It's a mid sized track (1.058 miles) that has a short track attitude as it is very low banked and not overly wide. The racing has always been good when I've gone. Very tight, moderately fast and always exciting. Also due to it's mid sized design you can still see the whole track from a midway up grandstand seat. Try turn 1, you can't go wrong.

Pocono seems good on TV especially from a unique track design POV, but after watching the Kurt Busch domination race a few weeks ago I just can't recommend it as a first race venue.

I was at pocono two years ago and I do not want to go back. It was the worst of the tracks I've been to. Which are Dover, Phoenix, Pocono and Bristol. Talladega will be on the list in Oct. Pocono is a terrible drive and traffic stinks. It's long straights keep the cars out of view for a long time from where I was sitting.

I'm from ct. also. I've been to both and Pocono sucks. New Hampshire is a better track and race to watch. Plus it's at least an hour closer depending where you are in ct. If you go in Sept, maybe will meet.

Well.. Personally I'd choose Loudon. The races there are alot more exciting than Pocono. I still think the 2nd date @ Pocono should go somewhere, almost anywhere else.. You should try the 2nd race @ Loudon, It'd be neat to goto the first race of the CHASE.

pocono deffiantly if its ur first time, ull see a different race at pocono then u would at new hampshire because its a short track, the cars go slower there, but at pocono the track is longer, the cars are faster, and whatever u decide, have fun!

Depending on where you live in the state, they take roughly the same amount of time to get to. I can get to either or in about 4 hours give or take. I like and been to both tracks, but if i have to recommend one over the other, I'd say NHIS. Its a smaller track so you'll see a lot more action than you would at Pocono.

Both are boring in my opinion, but New Hampshire is less boring. Pocono should in no way shape or form have two races. Bring back North Wilkesboro and Rockingham.
