Our TV is a Panasonic HDTV 1080i. When we turn on the power it acts like its going to come on and then it shuts off. We tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, didnt work.

What's wrong with it?

Will it be expensive to fix? It's a large TV... 40 some inches. We're wondering if its cheaper to fix or replace. The tech will charge $60 just to come look at it, not to mention cost of repair!!

Without a model number this answer is far to complex. Please supply a model number or look in the manual that came with the TV for the troubleshooting section.
