Why don't you just pray to your God that the Atheists don't sign on to R&S?
If that doesn't work, don't you think it's a sign from your God that the Atheists were meant to be here?

CJ: Two things - 1.) I'm Agnostic, not Atheist and 2.) Atheism is not a religion, it's the lack of belief in a supreme being.

I am an Atheist and IMO Atheism is a religion. Religion is a belief about God and I have a belief about God. I believe he does not exist.

I'm fine with Atheists being on R&S. They post challenging questions that help me learn more about why I believe what I do when I'm answering them, or reading other answers. I also enjoy reading their answers to understand better where they're coming from.
I only wish the ones who post obscene, disrespectful, and rude questions/comments would take a lesson from the nice, friendly Atheists and grow up. But I suppose that's asking too much of them.

I'm wondering if the Crocoduck is proof of Intelligent Design or that somewhere out there is a crocodile with a duck fetish!!
Praying is the same as an invocation.

I think everyone should be on here. It doesn't matter if one is a Christian (like myself), Atheist, Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Wiccan or whatever... the whole point of this R/S section is to allow people of varying religious perspectives to ask and answer questions. The only people I don't like to see in this or ANY section, are those whose intent is to troll around and ask questions intended to incite hatred and anger. Those are the folks that drive me nuts. Other than that, who are any of us to say that someone can't play in our group? That would be rude. This section was meant for us all.

Religion and spirituality are two separate things... We are born spiritual beings... not being a part of a religion makes you more spiritual in my books than being part of one... In my opinion Atheists are more welcome in the discussion and have more to share than those regurgitating old worn out religious text. to repeat what was written and not learn anew through life is a waste of life.

I could not care less if atheists are here or not. Its a free site. But it does beg the question, why are they here though? If your not a religious or spiritual person why come to this section? Nothing better to do? No atheist sites for you to go to?

You have as much a right to be here as I do. But unlike you, I have a religion. You are here just to belittle people of faith. Nonetheless, you are free to post whatever you like.
