My colonel only has ten girl skirts; instead we have to wear the the green pants. Any idea on how to talk our colonel into wearing the skirt? Any idea on why we can't wear skirts at all? Most of us participate in drill, raider, and orienteering. Thanks.

because the colonel calls the uniform of the day and if he says pants you wear pants if he says skirts then you wear skirts. you said he has ten skirts but how many girls are there in your class?

Is the issue that there more young ladies than there are skirts available? If that's the case then you're dealing with a uniformity issue and you're dressing in the uniform that is most common to all.
If you're training in your AG344 dress green uniform, I'm sure you must see the wisdom behind wearing slacks opposed to the wearing of a skirt. Bottom line is the Colonel determines the uniform of the day, right? Get over it...

Be wise and consider what you are trying to do to a Colonel. Normally what he says goes. If you have a good excuse and support, you might be able to change his mind. If there is not enough skirts for all females, you can give it up right now in trying to change his mind.

Its the Colonels decision on your uniforms. In the real army, most of the female soldiers I know prefer the pants anyway.

Its JROTC, thats highscool. Priority of money is going to the war. When the Colonel has enough skirts for everyone, then you can wear them. Right now, he wont get the funds for them.
