He did not take anything back when He rose fro mthe dead, that was the condition with which we would be redeem that He would die and three days later raise from the dead, jsut another show that He is indeed Lord and that He was the one that was coming to redeem our sins. Jesus is Lord, His death does not negate that. He is a spirit first and foremost, and a spirit is immortal. He came down in humans form, He is NOT human and therefore is immortal. The fact that He rose from the dead proves that He is far more than a common mortal. And remember the Bible says no one took Jeus's life, He laid it down freely. He could have stopped it yes, but He chose not to so that people today could live and have the chance to go to heaven, and judging by theresponses, this is a gift many of you are throwing away.. believers... see you on the other side!! :)

Basically, the reason Jesus had to die for our sins was so that we could be forgiven and go to be with the Lord. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14; Col. 2:9) and only God can satisfy the Law requirements of a perfect life and perfect sacrifice that cleanses us of our sins.
All people have sinned against God. But, God is infinitely holy and righteous. He must punish the sinner, the Law breaker. If He didn't, then His law is not law for there is no law that is a law without a punishment. The punishment for breaking the Law is death, separation from God. Therefore, we sinners need a way to escape the righteous judgment of God. Since we are stained by sin and cannot keep the Law of God, then the only one who could do what we cannot is God Himself. That is why Jesus is God in flesh. He is both divine and human. He was made under the Law (Gal. 4:5-6) and He fulfilled it perfectly. Therefore, His sacrifice to God the Father on our behalf is of infinite value and is sufficient to cleanse all people from their sins and undo the offense to God.
The Old Testament tells us that God appeared as a human being on several occasions. If Jesus wanted only to heal and teach, he could have simply appeared. But he did more: he became a human. Why? So he could die. To understand Jesus, we need to understand his death. His death is a crucial part of the gospel and something all Christians should know.
Jesus said, “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). He came to give his life, to die, and his death would purchase salvation for others. This was the primary reason he came to earth. His blood was poured out for others (Matthew 26:28).
Hope i helped!

The mortal body of Jesus The Christ did indeed die on The Cross... The sin debt of all of mankind was paid for by The Blood of Christ... He took all the sin of every living or who would ever live, into himself.... The mortal flesh was regenerated to demonstrate the victory over death that was won with the Sacrifice of Christ.
Jesus The Christ was both Fully God and Fully man... God can not tolerate sin in His presence... God left the mortal body when sin entered.... That is when Jesus The Man called out asking God why He had forsaken Him... this is an indication of just how great the agony was that Jesus suffered... He knew The Truth... yet in his agony... the agony of all of mankind within Him... he felt abandoned... that is the way all, who die in rejection of God, will feel for all of eternity, being eternaly seperated from God.

Yes! He did die for our sins. There also another reason to that is to defeat death. By defeating death and walking the earth he showed the disciples and the five hundred people that seen him alive after his death that he and his farther had power over death. In 1 Thessalonians 4: The dead in Christ shall raise first then those that are alive will will be caught up in a cloud and be with him. Yes we will be brought back to life but not necessarily with the same body. We will have a glorified body one that won't grow old and one that doesn't have a blemish one.

In those days people who made a offering to God used a perfect lamb as an offering, God gave His only Son as offering, Jesus, who was sent to earth as a human being, flesh and blood like you and me, to show us the way and to tell us about God, died on the cross for our sins and for our lives. He was punished and crucified, He came back to life, because Jesus is stronger and more mightier then death.

Yes... Jesus really did die for our sins. Not only did he die, but it was a humiliating, agonizing death. Jesus' death was not like, as you descibe it, giving a brand new car and taking back the keys. You see, Jesus' death would have been meaningless if there was no resurrection. But as it is, Jesus did arise three days after his crucifixion, in fulfillment of Scriptures, and thus conquered death. Those of us who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, will also conquer death.

ok since obviously youve never even looked inside a Bible, heres a crash course on your questions, first, yes He did die on the cross for our sins, second, why did He come back? well He was expected to even before He was cruxified His followers expected Him to come back to show that He was the son of God. 3rd. no a car is a car. 4thly. God is immortal but as stated IN THE BIBLE that you never ever cracked open we know that GOD came to earth in the FLESH the earth suites we wear which by the way ARE NOT immortal... so He ( God ) became MAN not God in the flesh but man, to do this awesome act of sacrifice. hope ya learned somethin new today and that it stays with you in your heart....God bless...

God tricked Eve into eating the apple, and then punished her descendants for eternity for her "sin". Then, god has the gall to say that the only way to be released from the spell that it put on them is for them to deny their god given right to free will and become a slave to a tooth fairy. Go figure.

No it is more like saying "Here is your brand new car, I paid it off for you and took care of the taxes. Here are the keys and the title and oh yea, your lifetime warrenty. When It does finally break down, you can trade it in for a new one."
Jesus is God incarnate.. in the flesh. He became man to live as a man and to experience life as a man and then to die as a man, but unlike man he defeated death so that death is no longer "the End" for man.
