As others here have answered, finding the way to a Godly life is in the pages and words of the Bible, God's Word, or The Scriptures, as the Bible (both Old and New Testament) is referred to.
Only God, and his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, can lead you to a Godly life.
If you want to know of some people who can HELP you along the way, you could consider finding a Bible Preaching Church with a message of Love, Salvation, and Righteous Living. You could also start by giving a listen to some of the following pastors and theologians I will list:
Billy Graham and his ministry
David Jeremiah (Turning Point ministries)
Chuck Swindoll (Insight for Living ministries)
Nancy Leigh DeMoss (Revive Our Hearts ministries)
Charles Morris (Haven ministries or Haven Today ministries)
These ministries all have websites and many, if not all, offer "webcast" messages. So, you can listen to their teachings on the Bible and I'm almost sure you will find it to be a blessing.
I personally found, as I've been finding it lonely getting over my fears and anxiety of finding the "right" church for me to attend on a regular basis, that using these ministries helps me feel "connected", to other believers.
I wish you Peace and God's Love through his Son Jesus Christ.
Please don't let anyone steer you away from this desire you have to live a Godly Life! It will bring you peace beyond your imagination!

Ask God, He will let you know what He wants you to do. The great thing is that you have the desire. Remember, people can help you on your path, but no one indivdual can give you everything that you need to leada Godly life, that is why we need God. Why are you frightened? Just pray and seek His face and if something doesnt feel right, or you dont think someone is telling you the right thing, then let it go and trust God always. Just remember we are all human who have fallen short to the glory of God and there are none righteous, no not one! So there isnt anyone out there who can truley show you the way to a Godly life, there are only people out there who have made mistakes and jsut like you they are trying ot get it right. They can help but God can perfect! Hope this helps a little. Stay strong and be blessed

I really do believe in what the first person said. You can read the Bible all day everyday, but if you do not except Christ into your life, you can never truly "Live a Godly life."
If you want to know how to live a Godly life. Look at 10 commandments, LEARN and UNDERSTAND the old testament. But STUDY the new testament because after the son of God died, everything changed, god actually learned how to FORGIVE, without lashing out in rage.
But read Luke 8:40- 53. Though it wont give you a lot of insight. You will read and learn about a of a man, who daughter dies, and how he had to learn how to believe in Christ.(read and meditate on what jesus told him Vs what everyone around him was telling him.)
But to get on track ... Sit Down and read all of Ephesians (Its Not long and its you think. But if your serious about reconnecting to God, you'll ready it if it was 2 pages versus 300 . But it has a lot of rules of what to do and what not to do. ) Let me know what you think okay bye !
PS Talk to him.
Though he might not answer like one of your friends would. He's understanding and he loves talking to his children

It's not a "formula", but if you are already a Christian I have a few Scriptures for you to read and pray about/for yourself...
Galatians 5:1,16-23
Ephesians 4:22-24, 29-32
Ephesians 5:1-4, 8-10
Ephesians 6:10-20
Philippians 4:6-7
I feel like God led me to these verses. They are about Godly character/living. And LOVE. See 1 Corinthians 13... Cause if you possess righteousness but "skip" love, it's all in vain. The Word of God does not abide in us if we live without love-loving God and others, especially our brothers/sisters in Christ.

Learn to live ethically - love rather than hate; give rather than trying to take what's not really on offer; avoid sexual misconduct; tell the truth and live with mindfulness and awareness - avoiding intoxication.
Don't worry if you can't do it all at once - its a skill to be learnt like walking.
Breath deeply a few times to live with the fear without panicking.
God is a red herring, you don't need to be afraid of anything like that. No one is looking down and judging you. Its just a metaphor for living a proper human life.

Didn't Jesus say: "The kingdom of heaven is within you". As this is the case be careful who you follow, there are so many out there who will lead you astray. Anyone who wishes to know the way to a Godly life is already half way there. Know yourself and trust yourself and that will take you the rest of the way.

First and foremost, just like somebody else said, "The kingdom of heaven is within you", and that is found by observing and watching your thoughts and emotions non-judgementally with love, rather than being identified with those thoughts and emotions. Second, read a book by somebody who is Enlightened, like David R. Hawkins or Eckhart Tolle. Books like "Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behaviour", "The Power of Now", or "A New Earth" will change your life in radically beneficial ways just by reading them. Then, simply put that information to practice.

Sorry to hear you are feeling confused and frightened at the moment, be assured you are not alone. If you read some of the psalms of David you will find yourself in good company!
There are people who can guide you in what you are looking for, however, you must be careful in whom you put your trust. You ought to read the Bible, particularly the new testament, which are there to teach us how to live as christ lived. This isn't always easy. It's helpful to have people around who have been seeking to be more like Jesus for some time, these can be found in churches that allow for the guidance of the Holy Spirit (in my experience.) I go to a new frontiers church because I can see that the people there teach in line with the Bible. Ultimately, it's important to spend time with Jesus, just talking to him about how you feel and asking Him to help you. Ask him to guide you to the right people. I know he hears our prayers and answers them.

This simple question leads to a rather complex answer - probably not best suited for this forum.
However, some suggestions to get started.
One, prayer - direct communication with your Father in Heaven - asking him for guidance with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth to you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Second, read/study the scriptures - you can get to know God by reading His words given through his prophets.
Third, ponder or meditate about the things you read and study.
You are a child of God and He will help you.

Sure. Read the Bible. Stone sinners and Blasphemers and non-Christians, stop eating pork, kill those who curse at God, and follow the ten Commandments. If you really want to go for the Godly life, feel free to feel anger, and wipe out entire cities because they do not worship your god. It's all very clearly stated in the Bible.
