I'm sitting here to lazy to get the remote to change the channel because I'm doing this Internet thing, then I sense these waves of extremely misinformed mental unhealth flooding the house from my TV.
I’ve listen for about ten minutes and it’s beginning to make a sick kind of sense.
It’s been a half hour now and I’m even lazier and that remote control thing isn’t going to happen.
It’s been an hour now and I’m really thinking the best thing we can do to help the poor Islamic peoples is to send lots more weapons and troops to the Middle East.
You know in the last two hours I’ve come to realize G.W. Bush was sent by God to save humanity.
I’m scarred to go leave the house but I have this intense need to buy cool aid.
I’m back and feel confused now.
Thank God the TV is still on.
What do you guys think I should do?

Good movie but they got the Gnostic portion wrong. Gnostics were on to something very cool spiritually. Then they were killed off so others could corrupt the Gnostic spirituality creating modern Christianity. It's like blaming Nobel for all the deaths from the high explosives he developed. Nobel also learned how to bind Nitrogen into a form readily usable by plants creating the modern fertilizers that feed the world today. If it weren’t for his explosives he’d be considered a saint.
I’m an American but since Americans told the world that we’ve taken control of the Christian faith (By deed not word silly) this song says it all for me.

Ahhh, ROTFL!! That is the funniest question I've read all evening."...(W)aves of extremely misinformed mental unhealth flooding the house from my TV" - hee hee hee. The 700 Club is indeed a brainwashing tool. It twists real news to suit its religious agenda. It is absolutely not one lick different than Al Jazeera television in the Mideast. Both only tell one type of news - their own, and they never let you see or hear what's really going on. FOX News does the same. Media should be an objective source of world happenings. I want to ban Channel 20 from my TV here because it shows that wigged-out, hallucinatory, mind-altering church claptrap but it also gives me an hour of Wonder Years at night so what can I do? People actually tune in and watch this extremist nonsense and it makes money for the local and PBS stations, so there's no way to subjugate it to a private channel funded by its participants rather than our tax dollars.
I once watched it for an hour and contemplated the idea of Armageddon coming already so we can all be delivered into the hands of the Lord and run around fairy-tale playgrounds all day long and drink wine and have chicken parmagiana every night for supper. A few minutes later, lost in thought, I realized that this is the nonsense that makes people never live their lives in the belief that they'll have another, better one after death. Well guess what, peeps? YOU DON'T KNOW! If you don't want to live your life to its fullest and find purpose and meaning in humanity and art and nature then go out to Jerusalem and sit and wait for Jesus to come down on a cloud. Because, really, the hatred, bigotry and evil you conceive of here thinking that the 'next life' is going to be better (no gays, no Pagans, no non-theists) is affecting my everyday life and this is a fact all around the world. You wanna be raptured so badly? Go! Go wait! Hope you find the right cloud and that Jesus isn't just phosphorous.
GNOSTIC, Don't drink the KoOl AiD! jimjonesjimjonesjimjones.

My poor dear....I am so sorry that you had to experience such a tragic event! I do hope that at least you learned a thing or two from this little tragic twist of fate.....
No money is needed for the love of the mysterious divine entity most commonly referred to as "god".....for all you need is what you already posess in your heart.....
If you feel you must send money, give it to someone who it can help...i mean truly help, and not in the sense of buying a new car or making certain others wealthier then what they already are due to the ignorance of the masses.
And oh yeah, by the way.....Green Kool Aide....thats the sh*t!
Blessings to you and yours

I don't have a tv and that comes in handy.
There are huge amounts of misinformation from mass consciousness that leaks in. Beware.
Most all of the understandings of the Bible and even most of its writings are twisted. A jealous God can be interpreted in spiritual ways, I suppose, but sometimes it's better to just start from scratch and find out for yourself. I fluctuate on this point because the Bible has some gems and the practice of discernment is valuable.

When I was 10 years old I had a Christian lady give me some sort of youth packet from the 700 Club. I remember it had a book and a pin to wear that came with it. Whatever it was, it obviously had no effect on me.
I always thought that one lady on there(not Tammy Faye) looked like a drag queen.

I've watched it in the past. Iti s more properganda & money scheming to me. All you have to do is get up go to the t.v. & turn it off. Then return to the internet.
The only person i see on t.v. with good biblical teaching is Pastor Mellissa Scott weeknights at 11pm cst & 12am, but latley the station has boxing on, go figure, so I go & read my bible & oh yhea get on the computer time 2 time.

Believe me if it stays on you TV for another hour the cool aid will start to look more refreshing by the second.
I used to fall asleep with the TV on everynight, the problem was that the channel I fell asleep to, started it's broadcast day with the 700 club. It is one thing to watch it, it is another thing entirely to realize it is the first thing your brain hears everyday is that.

Gnostic, the 700 club is one GREAT example of that movie *nods*. It's NOT about the religion, it's about the MONEY. Don't send them money to have them pray for you, just ask ME and I'll do it for free.
Brightest Blessings,
