It totally relaxes you and I guess it makes you go to sleep? When my brother got his wisdom teeth out he was totally loopy in the car and started laughing randomly. Lol. It was kinda funny. When my mom asked him what it was like he mumbled that it smells like cherries then he started cracking up. Lol. So both I guess.

It makes you relaxed, I don't think it makes you actually laugh. They call it laughing gas because it makes you so relaxed that you don't really care about too much of anything! I remember that it smells kinda like oranges.

Nitrous Oxide actually does both, though the analgesic (pain) is much less than the anxiolytic properties (relaxation). Local anesthesia (shots) will eliminate the pain associated with dentistry.

laughing gas makes u laugh and i don't think it takes away any pain....

It spaces you out. Try 2.5 litres.
