Mine does the same thing!!! Although she is asking to go potty. She doesn't like having the dirty diaper on. Are you taking her to the bathroom when you go? If not let her go with you and talk to her about what you are doing. Maybe that will peak her interest in the potty. Make her think that it is fun to use the potty and overly reinforce if she sits, goes, anything! The first day we said all day "yea! lu-lu went poo-poo in the potty!!!" she loved the attention. now whe wants to go so that we can celebrate
I keep toys and books in the bathroom so that she will have something to do while she is in there.
Belts work too. and snap onesies.

Have you tried to lightly spank her and tell her "NO" , you can do this light enough to not leave any red mark , At that age you can probably just say "NO" in a loud voice and they will get the picture , teach them yes ,and no ,( not compromises ) other wise it becomes a game for them to see all suggestions or solutions for wrong doing , and they will keep doing this the rest of their life because all they get is an alternative way out instead of punishment . The only reason spanking has become negative is because some old guy who never had children called himself a professional and decided it was not right , and you can not raise a child by a book or an expert who has never had children , but that "rant" is for another topic , just train your child to be normal ,and act right ,you have to be the parent not the nice friend all the time,
kids have to be trained , they have to know that if they do wrong there are consequences , they have to be taught boundaries , why do you think so many kids today think they can do as they please , they actually think a judge will count to three or make false threats , what kids learn up to pre school is how they think they are allowed to act . and it will follow them , society and professionals have said that 8 is the old 13 so if that is so then 2 is the old 7 which means your child should already be trained how to act ....go ahead and say , "I do not believe the professionals" , if you do not , then why not try spanking , it works.. trust me I have 4 kids here in my home...

My daughter will be 2 in Nov. and she just got into that stage about 2 weeks ago and if I don't keep clothes on her then she will take her diaper off. I walked in the other day and she pointed to her diaper that she took off and threw on the floor and was laughing. It was dry and so was the playpen thank goodness. I sit her on the potty chair and give her a book or something to occupy her b/c she likes to stand up and pee on the floor. We have a kid potty chair that sits on the floor...I tried putting the attachment on the toilet but she got scared of sitting up there. Try to put her in clothes that are fitted so she can't take them off or put the underwear over her diaper. That's my best suggestion. If i keep clothes on daughter she does good most of the time.
Good Luck hun and hope you find what helps!

Well my daughter did the same thing then I realized she took off the diaper bc she did something in it. Then I eased her on to the pottty chair by decorating it with with little jewels and told her that princess got to potty there no one else and it makes noises when they go potty. I would sing to her and keep her on the potty and then I let her pick big girl panties to run around the house in. But pull ups in the public. then she refused to wear the pull ups . good luck

My daughter started this same thing at about the same age. She is 2.5 now and still loves to be naked, but more controlled now about it. I learned that using pull-ups instead of diapers during the day seemed to help because she couldn't figure out at first how to get those off.
Hope this helps!

The minute you smell poo-poo or tinkle on her, change her. She clearly does not like having waste next to her body. Take her into the bathroom with you, the next time you have to go, let her see you sitting on the potty. Get one of those potty seats that sits on the big toilet, she may be less frightened to sit on the big potty after she sees you sitting on it and not falling in. Good luck!

My little sister did this all of the time when she was younger. My mom and dad resorted to duct taping the diaper around her waist and then at night with footie pajamas they would duct tape her under her armpits. If they didn't do this she would smear her poop everywhere.

Well its summer time and she may be either hot or cloths maybe arent in her best intrest. My cousin has two children and they both used to take off there cloths and like lay on top of eachother. But she realized when they were cold they wanted to put there cloths on. So she cranked up the air and ever since that they always wear thier cloths.

i know this sounds cruel but its crutail that she learns that the toilet is nothing to fear so put her on the toilet and lock the door, hold her hand until she is done wipe her and then take her and tell her to stand by the door, flush then stand next to her and after it flushes hug her and give her her favorate treat like a lolly pop
